>> Clarkson to Speak for Grammy Week
From MTV.com: Kelly Clarkson, Chris Brown, Common and MTV News' Sway will discuss the state of the music industry with high school students on February 6 as part of Grammy week. The What's the Download Rap Session, sponsored by the Recording Academy, will be held at Newman Hall on the University of Southern California campus.

If you're planning on attending, you can see Kelly at the Newman Hall on the 6th from 12:45pm to 2pm. Don't miss it!

At the 1/21  NAMM show (see below), Kelly announced that she will indeed be performing at this year's Grammy Award show. She continued, saying that she will be performing "Because of You." No press release has been set out yet, so don't expect to hear this on the news until that time has come. Can't wait!

According to the official website for the Winter Olympics, Kelly will be performing on February 12th for the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics! Every night from February 11 to February 25, some of the world's greatest performers will be featured and Kelly is schedule to appear! Check back soon for airtimes!

According to a casting website, the video for "Walk Away" will be a 3 day shoot, January 30-February 1, which an unspecified location. Joseph Kahn will once again direct Kelly, having directed the video for "Behind These Hazel Eyes." I think I'm with everyone when I say "yay" to Kahn!

The week of Jan. 24th  at the NAMM conference, an exhibit of 50 painted six string guitars was displayed in tribute to Damageplan and Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell, who was killed in December 2004. Click here to see the beautiful guitar that Kelly painted.

Hey Guys

Im really sorry I havent updated. Its been rough the past couple of days and yesterday didnt make it any better. This week I have midterms. ugh! Yesterday I came home early because after your midterm is done you can go home. ANYHU! That morning before I went to school I fed my guinea pigs(3) like I always do. My piggie, Patches, has been sick with failing kidneys for about a year now. Anyhu, he wasnt looking really good when I went down to feed him. I gave him his food, petted him and ran upstairs because I needed to leave for school. When I came home later I went straight to the basment to check on him. He wasnt looking to well. I noticed that he dry (u can tell by their ears), so I took him out and put him in his fleece blanket in his box. He didnt have enough strenght to open his mouth all the way to get the water in his mouth from his water bottle. So I went and got the medicine thing from previous guinea pigs and started giving him water from there. He really liked that. I feed him some food and he looked to be getting more energy. I brought him upstairs so I could give hime more water. We watched Will & Grace together. He loves watching tv especailly will and grace and friends. hehehe My mom came out and I told her about Patches I though maybe he needed another shot of fluid to help him become less dihydrated. After about an hour my mom and dad took him so they could give him a shot.... that first shot was to much for him. He passed away that afternoon. It wasnt even a few minutes after he got his shot.  I didnt do anything for the rest of the day besides sit by him until my brother came home from school. I ended up getting a headache and falling a sleep on my moms bed for about 2 hours. I got up to eat dinner and watch American Idol. I didnt enjoy AI as much as I usually do. Kalyn kept calling me and Im sorry Kalyn for not calling you back or even picking up the phone. I just wasnt up for it. Im sorry. Today was ok. I still feel weak and I still have that headache a bit but im better. It's gonna take time for me to be back 2 normal. These things are very hard for me because I love my guinea pigs like they are my own children and if you know me, you would know that my guinea pigs are always at the top of my list. I spoil them like its my job...
